A blog is about your story.
It’s about your life with Christ.
I’s about your ministry.
You own it.
If you only communicate on social media you no longer own the story,
It belongs to Facebook, or Twitter or wherever you post.
If you want to build a loyal audience or tribe, start blogging.
People who don’t know you will respect a blog post before anything on social media.
Therefore, your blog should be the center of your ministry communication.
It is the place to have a dialog with your tribe.
People will join your ministry based on your contribution to helping them get what they want.
They’ll find your story much easier if it’s on a blog.
A blog is where you serve your tribe.
You answer three questions.
You encourage them to seek Christ.
You encourage them to be strong.
You encourage them to pray.
You encourage them to serve.
You encourage them to forgive.
You encourage them to live in Christ through the Holy Spirit.
You lead them where they want to go.
That’s what ministry is all about.
That’s what witnessing for Jesus is all about.
That’s what being a disciple is all about.
Blogging is not hard. If you can write an email, you can write a blog post.
Blogging is not expensive. You can self host a WordPress blog for under $10 per month. The initial investment is less than $80. Not bad considering what Jesus did of you.
I’d be glad to help you get started. I may be able to minimize your investment.
As Nike says, “just do it.”
