We spread the good news.
It’s the basis of our ministry.
Some do it by writing, or creating videos or podcasts.
Some do it by caring for the disadvantage.
Some do it as missionaries.
We put God’s grace on display.
Spreading the good news is not pointing an accusatory finger at people while spewing out the “do nots”
People need to see God’s love in motion because love covers a multitude of sins.
We need to concentrate our messages on grace.
Grace is the unmerited favor go God. God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9
And God continues to favor grace over judgement – as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. Romans 5:20.
Following are 10 Bible verses about grace. As you read them, reflect on how you can best send a message and demonstrate God’s grace.
Esther was taken to King Xerxes at the royal palace in early winter[a] of the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther more than any of the other young women. He was so delighted with her that he set the royal crown on her head and declared her queen instead of Vashti.
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses[a] and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
2 Corinthians 12:8-9
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
However, he has given each one of us a special gift[a] through the generosity of Christ.
he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
1 Peter 1:3
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
